Advance Furniture Launches Contemporary Furniture.com
BUFFALO, NY. - November 1, 2000 -- Advance Furniture, located in Buffalo, NY has been serving customers for over thirty years by providing them with high quality, unique furniture and decorating ideas. Now, Advance Furniture is on the web, located at www.contemporaryfurniture.com. This easily navigated site is divided into fourteen specific furniture and accessory categories, from art, to home office, to beautiful leather upholstery. Customers can fill all their decorating needs by using a unique "personal showroom" feature which allows items to be selected and stored for later viewing, or emailed to friends and family for help during the selection process.
John Kenyon, head of the National sales division, is responsible for web development and sales for the contemporaryfurniture.com site. He, along with a team of customer service specialists, is available to customers for questions, orders or decorating advice. Purchases made through contemporaryfurniture.com are made through personal interaction with customer service personnel who are committed to making each purchase fit the needs and desires of the customer. John's goal is to continue to offer the same quality furniture and exceptional service on the web that has always been a trademark of Advance Furniture.
The original owners of Advance Furniture, Franklin Pusateri and Roy Pusateri opened for business to the public in 1955 as Advance Home and Garden. They originally sold hardware, appliances and home furnishings. In 1966 they recognized the community's need for high quality, unique furnishings and decided to move across the street to a bigger location at 2525 Elmwood Avenue. This was the year that the largest Contemporary and Scandinavian furniture store in western New York was born.
Currently, the store is owned and operated by Franklin Pusateri's children, Christine Kenyon and John Pusateri, who have been active in the business for over fifteen years. Christine's husband, John Kenyon, runs the business alongside his wife at the location where it all began over thirty years ago. Since then, the store has expanded to include a greater line of exceptional furniture and decorating accessories, which is currently displayed in a 10,000 square foot showroom.
Whether you make the trip to 2525 Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo, New York, or you visit the Advance Furniture website at www.contemporaryfurniture.com, do not miss the opportunity to see what Advance Furniture can do for your home.
